Electrical Equipment Class 1 covers all electric equipment which the body made from metal.
There 3 main basic for color code which:
1. Live wire (chocolate)
2. Neutral wire (blue) which are needed to enable electrical appliances functioning.
3. Earth wire (green / yellow) is also required to make sure leakage current is not flowing to the consumer’s body, but directly to earth when damage is occurred like life wire touched on the metallic body. This could safe the consumer from electric shock.
ATTENTION!!
* | If flexible wire has different colour code, please contact accredited wireman and never do your own connection. |

Correct method to connect 3 Pin Power Plug and 3 Core Wire
1. Connection should be done as shown in Picture 1 where all the colour code need to be obeyed.
2. Make sure all the screws are tighten and no excessive conductor wire that cause the touching of each other as in Pictures 2.
3. Make sure 'Cable grip' wire binder is used to ensure the flexible wire is not detach in power plug.
CAUTION: WRONG POLARITY IN POWER PLUG WILL CAUSE ELECTRIC SHOCK
TIPS
1. | Do not use broken power lug and socket because it is danger especially to children. |
Electrical equipment Class ll
Electrical equipment Class ll in general is electrical appliances with the body is made from non conductive materials of such as plastics (Picture 2).
There are appliances where the body are made from electricity metal conductor such as video but they are still classified as equipment Class ll (Picture 3).
This is because it have double insulation system where first insulation enable it to function perfectly while second insulation ensure the consumer from touching the electricity conductor wire if damage is happened.
